Moulin de Tingrain dates from the 12th century and has been renovated and furnished by its owners. The river runs directly under the mill, so you hear the water from inside the house. The grounds cover three small islands with lawns and fruit trees, with a path along the river for walks.
The mill sits at the edge of a quiet village in Orville, in the Essonne valley, 55 minutes from Paris. The GR32 long-distance hiking trail passes the property.
